I just got back in the business this year after 10 years out (children). I needed alot of equipment. So I remembered Martel Electronics had sold me a tape recorder back in the early 90's. I called them and their rep ran me thru all the new technologies available. From digital recorders, wav and digital transcribers, DVD transcribers, court recorders and microphones. I was born in Logan County Illinois in a pretty rural area. I kind of fell into court reporting. But I am looking to get back into it. I know I can do better than most of the newcomers with my previous experience.
